Vesta, who has been called a trendsetter in Finnish pop, released her acclaimed debut album Lohtulauseita in 2018. The album topped the official Finnish charts for three weeks in its first week of release. The album has sold platinum and several singles have been streamed for precious metals: Ota varovasti platinum and Sun katu, Turvallista sotaa and Lohtulauseita gold. Helsingin Sanomat wrote that Vesta is “the best that Finnish mainstream pop has to offer at the moment”.

Praised by critics and listeners, Vesta was awarded the Emma Newcomer of the Year award in February 2019, and Soundi magazine awarded the artist the Master of Pulpets Newcomer Award, stating that Vesta “combines indie and mainstream, credibility and commerciality, relevance and hit potential”. In the YleX Breakthrough vote, Vesta was awarded Breakthrough of the Year by both the jury and the public. The first single from Vesta’s second album, which will be released in 2021, the charming Valonsäteet, was released in May 2020.

Arppa is a skateboarder and a songwriter with strong roots in Ykspihlja, Kokkola, where many of his works are also set. His compositions are timeless and his lyrics are small snapshots of a moment. Arppa has gathered the most charming musicians of his generation around him, which has created a beautiful and harmonious soundscape and an energetic live experience based on improvisation that is unparalleled.

The artist, who released her self-published debut album in August 2020, is enjoying her time among indie promises. Arpa's achievements include numerous airplays on domestic radio stations, a sold-out gig at Korjaamo Vaunusali in autumn 2020, and a nomination for the YleX Breakthrough List.
