Kasmir, who makes R&B-influenced pop, broke through in 2014 with his debut album “AMK Dropout”, whose single “ Vadelmavene” has remained a summer hit for Finns for years. The talented vocalist and songwriter was awarded the Emma Gala in 2015 as Newcomer of the Year and “Vadelmavene” as Song of the Year. Kasmir’s second studio album, “Valmis”, released in early 2018, rose to number one on the Finnish charts upon its release. The Helsinki-based artist released his third full-length album “Jälki” in the fall of 2019. In the summer of 2020, he surprised everyone by releasing the EP “Lumpeet” without prior warning. The EP was not planned on Kasmirinka’s part, but was created during a corona-time gig break in Hanko.
